You're probably wondering why this song is in here considering it's so strange. I wrote this little tune when I was in Miami visiting family and I saw a snail on the ground outside. I started improvising a melody, and it stuck with me so naturally, I converted it to 3-part-harmony. Naturally. So even though it's kind of quirky I put it in the album to act as an intermission. The song is not just about the snail, it's about a human being (me) having something in common with the snail: living on this beautiful earth. The snail and I both have a home to be grateful for, even though we may be completely different. Sometimes I wonder what Mr. Snail is doing now.
